The objective of the "Personal Information Controller Service" (PICS) project is to design a software platform in Software As A Service mode around a secure personal information space (strong authentication with contactless physical support like "wristband" type) which interoperability with SaaS services can be controlled by the user.
How ?
PICS lifts technological locks related to:
- Security: modeling the control of data communicated to e-services; strong authentication (European eIDAS),
- Subsequent control of the use of data on Internet (Data Mining and Big Data),
- Ergonomics: graphical normalization of the Terms of Service; Non-intrusive interoperability with desktop and mobile devices and e-Services,
- Societal acceptance of the platform in e-Administration and e-Commerce usages.

Who ?A multidisciplinary team was set up around the market value chain and include suppliers of SaaS applications (Softeam, ETI, publisher of the software product BPM e-Citiz, which will coordinate the project and a small company which publishes a CMS software product), Security vendors (Gemalto, the leading global smart card group, and Business Card Associates, SME developing an authentication bracelet), cloud IaaS infrastructure providers (OVH, the leader in hosting, Orange Cloud For Business, state cloud) and academic partners experts in their field: INRIA for data mining, INSA Lyon (LIRIS) for security models, Lille 2 University (MERCUR) for usage analysis (with Sicoval And Oney Bank) and Paul Sabatier University (IRIT) for user interface specification. |
